CSIMA is one of the largest clubs at CBS and offers members many opportunities to further their interests and skills in the investment management industry. (Membership is open to all current MBA, EMBA and MS students):

Tailored Job Postings: CSIMA members receive access to select job postings from employers interested in meeting club members.

Guest Speakers: CSIMA, in connection with CBS staff and faculty, works to create a regular flow of guest speakers directly from the investment industry. Recent speakers have included Howard Marks, Leon Cooperman, Bill Ackman, and Mick McGuire. 

Treks: CSIMA organizes group recruiting trips to visit the headquarters of leading investment firms. CSIMA trips cover New York, Boston, the West Coast, Asia, and Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholder Meeting.

CSIMA Conference: The annual investment conference in February will be attended by hundreds of investment professionals and students and will be held in person this year. Recent speakers include Howard Marks, David Abrams, Melody Hobson, Dawn Fitzpatrick, and Bill Miller.

Investment Ideas Club (IIC): CSIMA organizes four IICs. Club members can pitch their ideas to portfolio managers and analysts, who are invited to receive the pitches and offer constructive questions and commentary.

Volunteer Opportunities: CSIMA maintains a close relationship with CBS's investing faculty and staff, including the Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing. CSIMA members are provided unique opportunities to volunteer at Heilbrunn Center events.  

Educational Opportunities: CSIMA, as well as other campus clubs, will host educational events such as Excel workshops, stock-pitch workshops, bond indenture information sessions, and more.

Resources: CSIMA grants its members access to Canalyst, Bamsec, and Tegus to facilitate research and pitch creation.

Competitions: CSIMA Stock Pitch Challenge and externally hosted competitions.

Social Events: Opening Social, Mentorship Pod Dinners, Co-Sponsored Rugby Happy Hour, and Larger Events.
